Omnichain LRTs
Layerless LRTs are Omnichain. Using LayerZero as the cross-chain messaging protocol, it's possible to transfer LRTs between supported by Layerless blockchains. Ultimately, by combining it with the Reward-bearing feature as well as the Superposition functionality, we're taking EigenLayer and restaking beyond Ethereum.
A user who bridges Layerless Omnichain LRTs from Ethereum to another supported chain, and even uses (locks) these transferred tokens in a third-party DeFi protocol on that chain, will still be eligible to claim the EigenLayer restaking rewards for this period.
Omnichain LRTs capabilities:
Bridge LRT between chains.
Use bridged LRTs in various DeFi protocols across many chains. Using LRTs on cheaper to use blockchains (e.g. Arbitrum, Optimism, and other L2s), increases the LRTfi accessibility and its TAM.
Even if a user holds and uses the Omnichain LRT beyond Ethereum (e.g. Arbitrum), it'll still be eligible to claim all Layerless's EigenLayer restaking rewards from this period on Ethereum. The only thing necessary to claim the rewards is to bridge your LRTs back to Ethereum where EigenLayer distributes its restaking rewards.
The abovementioned mechanism works even if you've obtained (e.g. bought) the LRT on another chain (a user doesn't have to be the one who initially bridged the tokens).
Full cross-chain composability: even if a user bridged LRTs between multiple chains in a streak (e.g. Ethereum -> Arbitrum -> Optimism -> Base -> Ethereum), it's still fully supported.
