Isolated LRTs
Every Layerless LRT has its underlying LST and is isolated from other LRTs.
The advantage of this approach (LRTs' isolation), as opposed to the basket approach (multiple LSTs deposited and grouped into a single LRT with its value calculated usually using oracle like Chainlink and equal to the total value of deposited assets), is the lack of shared risk of individual LRT contracts, as well as a much easier valuation of LRT within third-party DeFi protocols. Separating LRTs also allows us to quickly add and enable every LST supported by EigenLayer.
In simple terms, when you restake via Layerless, for example, 1 rETH you receive X lrETH (X EigenLayer shares of rETH Strategy) that you can use and exchange at any time for 1 rETH + all accrued rETH (for instance, at the beginning 1 lrETH might be worth 1 rETH but after a year of restaking it will be worth more, e.g. 1.05 rETH - you're getting your initials plus your restaking rewards).
